Our Designing Security for Windows
2000 Server course is designed to prepare students for passing
the MCSE Exam 70-220.
Designing Security for Windows 2000 Server:
During this five-day course students will acquire the skills
necessary to design a security framework for small, medium, and
enterprise networks. This framework includes providing secure
access to local network users, remote users and offices, Locations
and between private and public networks.
Day 1: Assessing security risks and introducing
Windows 2000 security.
Day 2: Planning administrative access and
user accounts, securing Windows 2000-based computers, file and
print resources.
Day 3: Securing communication channels,
providing secure access to non-Microsoft clients and remote users.
Day 4: Providing secure access to remote
offices, Internet users and network users.
Day 5: Extending the network to partner
organization, designing a Public Key Infrastructure and developing
a security plan.
Prerequisite: Experience with the Windows
Operating System. Completion of the Windows 2000 Active Directory
Services course or related experience.
