Designing and Implementing a MS SQL Server
2000 Database: During this five-day course students will acquire
technical skills required to program a database solution by using
Microsoft SQL Server™ 2000.
Day 1: Overview of SQL Server, programming
SQL Server, creating and managing databases.
Day 2: Creating data types and tables, implementing
data integrity and planning indexes.
Day 3: Creating and maintaining indexes,
implementing views and stored procedures.
Day 4: Implementing user-defined functions
and triggers and programming across multiple servers.
Day 5: Optimizing query performance, analyzing
queries and managing transactions and locks.
Prerequisite: Experience with the Windows
operating system. An understanding of basic relational database
concepts and knowledge of basic Transact-SQL syntax.
Duration: 5 Days (9 am to 5 pm)
