Our Windows 2000 Active Directory Services course is designed to prepare students for passing the MCSE Exam 70-217.

Windows 2000 Active Directory Services: During this five-day course students will acquire the skills necessary to install, configure and administer Microsoft Windows 2000 Active Directory™ directory services.

Day 1: Introduction to Active Directory in Windows 2000, implementing DNS to support Active Directory, creating a windows 2000 domain and setting up and administering users and groups.

Day 2: Publishing resources in Active Desktop, delegating administrative control and implementing group policy.

Day 3: Using Group Policy to manage user environments and software.

Day 4: Creating and managing Trees and Forests, managing Active
Directory Replication.

Day 5: Managing Operations Masters, maintaining the Active Directory Database and implementing an Active Directory Infrastructure.

Prerequisite: Experience with the Windows operating system. Completion of the Windows 2000 Professional, Server and Network Infrastructure Administration courses or related experience.
